When the world came to a halt during the Covid pandemic, this couple of intrepid travelers embarked on the biggest adventure of their lives. Maé & Oré, the Travel Burners, have spent the last two-years travelling over 80,000 kms through 20 countries in their trusty Land Rover Defender.
Documenting their journey, their content has attracted millions of views and inspired even more wanderlust.
The build
Because this couple call their vehicle home, an Icarus conversion allows them to live comfortably on the road and easily access their tent from the driver’s seat without leaving the vehicle. They have added accessories like the 270° awning and a shower cube for even more comfort and convenience.
