OK4WD’s Winter Expedition

 OK4WD’s Winter Expedition

“Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong. West Virginia, mountain momma, take me home, country roads.”

John Denver’s iconic lyrics took on a whole new meaning when our friends at OK4WD went on their 2025 Polar Vortex expedition. Exploring the snow-covered mountains of West Virginia, the team embarked on a 3-day winter overlanding adventure that tested the limits of our gear and their grit.

Since 1979, OK4WD has been outfitting adventurers and their vehicles, growing from a two-bay garage to the premier source for overlanding and off-road equipment in the U.S. Their expertise and commitment to quality have made them an invaluable partner in our mission to create gear that stands up to the toughest conditions.

This expedition was no ordinary trip. With 3 feet of snow and subzero temperatures, the expedition team put two INEOS Grenadiers to the ultimate test. From navigating icy trails to cooking warm meals inside of their rooftop conversion, their adventure was all about putting our products through their paces.

Watch their video to see how they tackled the elements, what gear kept them going, and share in the moments that made it all worthwhile.
